Interview 3 – Hanna Kamal Ibrahim
About Hanna

My driver and translator Hama suggested to meet Hanna.
He knew her just briefly from hiking-trips in the mountains,
but thought she is an interesting young woman.

We gave Hanna a call and met her the next day working in a monastery in Sulaymaniyah, which is managed by a
 German priest named ‘Father Jens’.
This monastery is newly founded and inhabits 180 IDPs, who help to set up everything and repair their houses.

Hanna showed us around and was finally interviewed in the church, which is located in the inner courtyard
of the monastery. Hanna is also a volunteer worker for an Italian organisation named Un Ponte Per.
